RESULTS OF LAS CRUCES’ “WHERE ALL LEARNERS THRIVE” PLAN

Las Cruces Public Schools’ (LCPS) 2024-2029 strategic plan: Where All Learners Thrive prioritizes high-quality early literacy instruction. As part of this effort, LCPS launched a Head Start initiative to strengthen foundational skills, particularly for bilingual learners. To support this goal, the district partnered with Footsteps2Brilliance (F2B) to enhance school-to-home connections, increase engagement for bilingual families, and implement a more accessible, data-driven approach to instruction. With a focus on progress monitoring, F2B enables educators to tailor learning experiences based on student needs while providing a device-agnostic, offline-accessible resource (in English and Spanish) for families. Through this initiative, LCPS is advancing its commitment to early literacy success.
